The strap is designed with a reliably durable lined eye end fitting. The eye is built to slide right into the vehicle’s anchoring point, establishing a solid and dependable connection. You just need to wrap the strap under the wrecker’s underreach to the casualty’s front axle, and then you pass the loose end of the strap through the long-handled ratchet buckle. This tensioning device can then be used to easily and incrementally apply tension right to the strap, tightening it down to just the right amount of tautness.
